We do not ask for proof of address or ID (within reasonable expectation). We are a Safe Surgery. If you are currently homeless, please use the practice address to register and we will do our best to help you.
Otherwise, you MUST however reside within the catchment area detailed on the map.
Please note: Our catchment area has changed within the last few years.
We have not asked our existing out-of-area patients to reregister elsewhere except in cases where we cannot meet their health needs due to borough restrictions
If you live outside the catchment area and are an existing patient but move to another address outside of the catchment area then you will be asked to register with a new GP.
The reason that we ask patients to reregister is for their healthcare needs. If you live outside of Chingford and/or Waltham Forest we would be unable to refer you or give you access to local services you may require. This leads to patient referrals being rejected and interruptions to care.
